There was a clash between two groups in Nalanda, in which bricks and stones were thrown heavily. Firing was also done during this period. However, the police are denying the incident of firing. As soon as information about the incident was received, a large number of police forces including DM Shashank Shubhankar reached the spot and somehow pacified the matter. The incident took place in Baiganabad locality of Nagar police station area.
Conflict over children’s dispute
Regarding the incident, local people say that there was a fight between children on Sunday. At that time, people from both sides pacified the matter by persuasion. The fight broke out again over the same issue on Monday. Within no time, obstructions started. Bricks and stones started being pelted at each other’s houses and shops. The street lights in the street were broken by the miscreants. The locality became dark due to the breaking of the electric wire. As soon as information about the fight was received, SDO, DSP and Quick Response Team along with police from several police stations including the city police station reached the spot. The administration got the obstructions removed from the street by sweeping.
Raids are being conducted to arrest the miscreants
Regarding the incident, SP Ashok Mishra said that there was a dispute between two groups of children. Police reached the spot and started controlling the situation. The people involved in the incident are being identified and raids are being conducted. Very soon those miscreants will be arrested. At present the situation is under control.
